About Mackenzie Rady, MS, RD, LD Registered Dietitian

Meet your needs in this space.

Your body is your closest companion, and yet it can often seem like the thing you fight with most. And trying to reach out to talk to someone can leave you feeling awkward or nervous. The fear that they may judge what you say, or worse – confirm what you’re most afraid of – keeps you stuck.

I am here to enter into that battle alongside you. I care deeply about meeting you where you’re at and helping you restore harmony in your relationship with food and your body. My work with you is real and life changing because I bring both expertise and humanity to the table.

As a Registered Dietitian, I’m specifically trained with strategies that address the complexities of nutrition and health concerns while also recognizing that we’re human, and food is more than just fuel – it’s a pathway to enjoying life and feeling your best in this body of yours.

Counseling is preparing for change together.

When you begin dietetic counseling with me, you’ll discover that I get it – no really, I get it. Diet culture is more than just a buzz word – it’s a real challenge in our communities where people of all ages, sizes, and shapes are confronted with messages that tell them their body is not good enough. I’m here to show you how to peek behind that curtain and call it out for the lies and destruction it’s causing in your relationship with your body.

Some of my areas of expertise are Eating Disorders, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Diabetes Care, and a variety of other forms of Nutrition Support. While I have a Master’s Degree in Nutrition, I also have a compassionate heart that supports you in your food journey wherever you find yourself, and it is my hope that you feel both of those quickly and easily in our work together.

Hello, I’m Mackenzie.

Have a seat and allow me to introduce myself over my favorite beverage – a warm cup of coffee. It always has a way of settling me down into a cozy chair to do some of my best thinking.

But don’t be fooled – I’m a woman on the go. I love summer time and spending long days at the lake with my family. In fact, those childhood memories have a permanent space in my heart… next to Brussels sprouts. Yes, I’m a dietitian who loves Brussels sprouts, but I promise you will, too, when they’re prepared right!

Speaking of eating, I also really love the moments surrounding a meal spent with my favorite people… a new recipe, fresh flowers in a vase, T-Swift in the background all have the makings of a good time, but the real magic is in the laughter and memories we share around that table because I’m able to be fully present and soak it all up. It’s so restorative. And I can’t wait to show you how to find that same healing at your own table.
